So I was talking to my friend L at the gym when we were in the pool today. A woman had just gotten in and pretty much just took off swimming. L made a comment on how the woman was going to show us both up, and I mentioned how at school I get passed by everyone. But then she made the point of even though we may be slow, we're still above average swimmers considering we can swim one mile and think nothing of it while there are so many people who can't even swim. Which is definitely an interesting way to look at it.
The pool was only 78 today. But better than Friday, when it was 74. Shoulders have felt sort of tight all week. No good.
And at the end of my 20 miler-ish yesterday, the tendon/muscle on the back inside of my knee gave out. So it was a painful 1 mile limp home. Going to have to take it easy this week and next so by the marathon it's better.
Today was a solid bike though. Kind of windy for parts, but definitely went well considering it was my first bike outside since mid-November. Disregarding the almost falling over when initially getting on.
