Get Me Out of Here!

Winter has arrived and I am not very happy about it. Temperatures were in the mid-30s with windchills in the 20s. As much as I love to run in this weather since I can wear my favorite running tights and a long sleeve shirt and feel like I can run forever, when the weather is only good for one thing, I would prefer it be different. The only time I am warm is when I am running and as soon as I stop, I'm freezing again. So this is no good.

So as I can only run outside, I have to get on the trainer to bike. And as I do not have cable currently, my tv options are very limited. However, I discovered that Saturday morning good-for-kids cartoons are actually entertaining and not as cheesy as I would have thought. And surprisingly, the Veggie Tales theme song mentions Schenectady! So that was my excitement for the weekend.

Cold weather is so demotivating. Even getting out of bed in the morning is getting hard. The only thing I want to do is run in this weather but I'm paranoid of getting shin splints and ITB syndrome and plantar and all that good stuff I thought I had gotten past a couple years ago.

Totals:
66 miles biked
33 (ish) miles run
20250 yards swam

ETA: I need a kick in my ever-expanding rear end to stop eating so much crap! Hellllpppppppp! Tonight my dinner was a salad and about 20 large cookies. I am NOT kidding. All I eat is sugar and occasionally Chex Mix. Help me!

Sounds like a great recipe to develop diabetes! If that is not enough to make you stop eating so much sugar, then maybe you need to visit your local friendly doctor and get a checkup to see if something else is going on in your body. I think your body is trying to tell you something. Makes me worry about you!! And you will not be here in the dressing room tomorrow for me to fuss at you--sigh!
