The Day I Thought Would Never Come

I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on Saturday. (Checked my grades the day before and calculated I should pass everything.) There were times I never thought I would make it and get my degree in computer engineering. But somehow I survived in one piece and with a GPA above a 3.

I actually had several of my friends graduating too. I was surprised that there were so many of us who had started at the same time and were finishing at the same time. I was glad to realize that most of the people I knew had already graduated or graduated at the same time as me, such that we had all survived.
My roommate from the dorms in freshmen and sophomore year. We kind of fell out of contact last year but we had lunch a couple times this year and it was fun.
One of my really good friends and one of the first people I met at U of I. We actually had about half our classes together freshmen and sophomore year.

Currently on day 3 of a self-imposed rest period. I've been rundown for the past week or so so I decided it's time to stop and stop being stupid. I need to get myself to the starting line on July 26 healthy and in one piece so being stupid is no longer allowed.
