I like people who make things. I am all for supporting artisan creations and art. Especially created by friends or people I know.
A friend of mine, Dan Schreiber, from a computer science class freshmen year of college is now pursuing his PhD in CS still at Illinois. He is also into chocolate making. This weekend I received my order of handmade chocolate. It is delicious.
And tomorrow I should be picking up a painting (Sense) done by the girlfriend of a coworker/friend of mine, Emily Tarleton. I'm excited to find a home for it in my apartment. The walls are lonely with only a cork board and two Ironman posters.
And lately I've been perusing Etsy.com for all things handmade. Once I receive my clothing order I hope to post some photos. And maybe my sister will be nice and post photos of the food I ordered for her.
