Three Step Plan to Succeed at Kona, from Joe at Davis Wheelworks
1. Use 303s. Last year I got blown all over on 404s. It was ugly.
2. Remember to eat. Bonking is bad and I get cranky and think negative thoughts. That is doubly bad.
3. Pedal with both legs. What went wrong at Canada and would prefer not to repeat.
And for preparation up to the race
* Don't run too much and make the injury worse.

ooo, you're riding 303s?? let me know how they work out, I've heard very good things about their newest iteration.
I would recommend a step 4 - have fun!!!
